Marie Turcott


Marie advises individuals and organizations in a variety of legal disputes, including commercial matters and family law litigation involving complex asset division issues.

She has worked with lawyers at the firm on a broad range of litigation matters, including:

  • The trial and appeals in a case arising from the acquisition of one publicly listed mining company by another
  • The arbitration of claims by a group of shareholders against a private equity firm for losses arising from the operation of an internal stock exchange
  • The appeal of a commercial arbitrator’s decision
  • The trial of a fraudulent conveyance claim
  • Claims for wrongful dismissal and human rights proceedings
  • Family law proceedings involving claims to complicated asset structures
